Based on a long line of ENT treatment units, the ERGONOMIC III is ergonomically designed to simplify ENT OPD procedures, improve efficiency, reduce user fatigue and optimise hygiene in an outpatients setting.
The ERGONOMIC III is equipped with an illuminated instrument plateau fitted with stainless steel inserts and two large drawers one of which is fitted with stainless steel partitions.
The used instrument and waste containers are accessible via openings at the front.
The handpiece holder section is hinged and opens like a door to reveal a compartment in which existing devices can be placed.
Entermed can supply patient management software, which allows for centralised storage of images, videos and patient data. It is also possible to connect this software to hospital systems using a HL7 or DICOM interface.
Using the above software it is possible to create electronic records. The images and video footage are saved under the date and time under the patients’ name.
These software solutions are extremely user friendly and reliable.
The integrated functions are automatically activated when the handpieces are removed from their holders. Other features can be operated using the touchscreen, PC, footswitch or integrated power sensors.
The ERGONOMIC III ENT treatment unit is designed to reduce the need for maintenance. All components are of high quality and are durable.
The ERGONOMIC III is hand built to order to the highest standards. It can be customised according to customer budget and requirements.

LED cordless examination headlight
The design of the ERGONOMIC III has minimized the use of extruding parts, such as knobs and handles. The touchscreen has replaced the traditional physical buttons with virtual ones, with exception to the on/off button. The display is flush and can be wiped clean effortlessly. The front panels are smooth and easy to keep clean. The push-to-open, soft-close drawers make it easy for the user to open and close the drawers without the need for handles. These design features make the ERGONOMIC III easy to maintain and allows for better infection control.
The (optional) integrated PC allows for the addition of a video endoscopy camera system, tympanometer, rhinomanometer and stroboscopy system in the ENT treatment unit.
Entermed can supply patient management software, which allows for centralised storage of images, videos and patient data. It is also possible to connect the patient management software to hospital systems using a HL7 or DICOM interface.
